  This year's Kingswood Residential has got off to a great start!  Brilliant weather, plenty of mud with lots to eat!  Children asleep before 12 last night and woken this morning  at 6:50am to a wonderful  rendition of, "Oh what a Beautiful Morning!" by Mr. Lee.

  Life just doesn't get any better!!

   

   

   

   

• Parents' Evening

  Upon arrival, could parents please make their way into the school hall and wait to be sent to their child's class teacher.

  Sponsored walks take place on Thursday 29th September.

   

  • Years 5&6 - Rothley Primary School

   

  • Years 3&4 - A circuit of the local area (Down the side path, along Bennion Road and Beaumont Leys Lane/Leicester Road)

   

  • Years 1,2 & Foundation - Bennion Pools and back.

   

  Please see your child's class teacher if you have some time to offer your support.

   

• Free School Meals

  Did you know that if your income in under £16,000 per family, you could be entitled to Free School Meals? Currently Foundation and KS1 receive Universal Free School Meals but if you register for Free School Meals you will also receive support for school trips, swimming and milk.  Glebelands will also receive additional funding through the Pupil Premium Grant to help us support your child at school.  You can register online at www.gov.uk/apply-free-school-meals, or over the phone - 0116 454 1009 or simply come to the office for an application form.

• Djembe Drumming

  A performance by our Year 3/4 djembe drummers will be held in the school hall on Tuesday  12th July at 2:30pm.  Parents welcome.

• Vardy Party

  A big thank you to all those parents who joined us for our 'Vardy  Party".  The afternoon was a fantastic event which allowed us all to bask in some much needed fun in the sun!
