Class 8

Welcome To Class 8!

Home Learning week of 4th May. We have created lessons for 4 days as Friday is a bank holiday.

This week we are finishing our topic on Macbeth so you will find out what happens to him!

There is a diary entry task and to finish the week you can create a Playbill poster.

Attached is this week's maths work, the work on fossils and the art set by Mrs Sudra.

We have really tried to make this accessible so that you don't need to print.

The work can be downloaded and you can write your work in the exercise books we gave out.

Any problems please contact me on Dojo.

Take care all! Miss Musson :)

Here is the home learning for week beginning 27th April.

This week we continuing with our literacy work on Macbeth and we are focusing on letter writing. Remember the purpose and the audience for this type of writing. The audience is the person you are writing to (Macbeth) and the purpose is to inform and express feelings. It is personal so it needs to be in 1st person. The 'thought bubbles' sheet will help you to complete this.

Then to finish the week, there is a little cartoon where you can write dialogue for each character.

Maths we are following White Rose Summer Week 1. Do not worry if you have completed this and are working through White Rose at your own pace. There are always times table activities for you to do. Remember to log on to ttRockstars :)

In science we are continuing to learn about rocks and test their properties.

In history we would like you to look at some historical sources and think about what happened next in the battle for the crown.

As always any questions please get in touch via dojo. Take care, Miss Musson :)

Here is the home learning for the week beginning 20.04.2020. We have organised it into 2 timetables: literacy and maths and curriculum timetable. Please get in touch with your class teacher if you have any questions.
