Twinkl: This is a website with a variety of resources that we often use in school. They are offering free use of the site during school closure by following this link https://www.twinkl.co.uk/offer and entering the following code CVDTWINKLHELPS. Please look at the Key Stage 1 5-7 section. 

 

Learning Stars, a maths resource have published free PowerPoint presentations and worksheets covering different aspects of maths. Click on the following link https://primarystarseducation.co.uk/covid-19-year-1/ for year 1s and https://primarystarseducation.co.uk/covid-19-year-2/

 

White Rose Maths, the scheme that we us in school, has released some videos and work to do at home. The children will recognise these. They have started with years 1 and 2 with a couple of videos but do check back regularly for more. https://whiterosemaths.com/homelearning/

As always, I encourage children to read as often as they can to continually build upon and broaden their vocabulary. Keep an eye on Class Dojo and this page for any further updates. Should the school receive notification to close, I will provide an exercise book for children to work in along with a couple of reading books pitched at the appropriate level.
