Class 1 Nursery

This year our staff includes:

Mrs Williams and Mrs Sudra

Miss Clarricoates (Monday - Thursday mornings ) 

Mrs Watts (Tuesday morning)

Mrs Kettle  (Friday morning) 

 

Within the Foundation base, our staff also includes: 

Mrs Hobson and Mrs Savage 

Miss Duke  

Mrs Kettle (Wednesday -Friday afternoons)

 

We also have student placements and parent volunteers at different times.

 

 

Our P.E. days are: 

 

Morning children - Wednesday morning 

Afternoon children -Tuesday afternoon 

 

Your child will need a named white t-shirt, a pair of dark coloured shorts and plimsolls.  For health and safety purposes, ALL jewellery should be removed including earrings , and long hair tied up.   

If your child has items that cannot be removed please speak to a member of staff.

Water Bottles

 

Children are encouraged to bring a clearly labelled bottle containing waterwhich they will have access to during the day.  The children are expected to take this home at the end of the day and bring back the following day, refilled.

Tuesday 9th October - Parents' Evening till 7.00

Wednesday 10th October - Parents' Evening till 5.30

Monday 15th - 19th October - RE week

Friday 19th October - School 20th Anniversary afternoon

Friday 19th October - Break for half term

 

Monday 29th October - Term starts

Monday 12th - 16th November - Anti-bullying week

Wednesday 12th December - Foundation Nativity afternoon (to be confirmed)

Thursday 13th December - Foundation Nativity morning (to be confirmed)

Monday 17th December - Foundation Christmas party morning (to be confirmed)

Friday 21st December - Break for Christmas

Our topic this term is Family 

 

We will be reading lots of stories this term and within these, focusing on families.

 

The children will also have an opportunity to talk about their families.
